Just Released—New Book by Elder Ted N. C. Wilson—Almost Home

Nampa, Idaho (October 1, 2012) — Pacific Press® has announced the release of Almost Home, a book by Elder Ted N. C. Wilson, president of the Seventh-day Adventist world church. It is an impassioned call for the church to shake off its lethargy and get to work fulfilling God's commission to proclaim the message of Revelation's three angels around the world.

Almost Home identifies the components essential for the development of a living faith that will help God's people live through the end times and witness Jesus' return. Elder Wilson writes of the importance of taking the Bible as it reads; learning to depend on Christ's righteousness alone for our salvation; and answering the challenge to live a life of Christian service.

In the foreword, Elder Mark A. Finley writes, "Elder Wilson's passion to see this lost world won for Christ rings clear in each chapter. He longs to inspire Seventh-day Adventists around the world to reach out and witness powerfully for Christ and to be ready for the return of our Lord."

Elder Wilson says, "Jesus' soon return is the wonderful news that should inspire and shape all our plans and actions. What a time to plead with the Lord for revival, reformation, and the latter rain of the Holy Spirit. We're almost home!"

Almost Home will encourage, inspire, and challenge Seventh-day Adventist Christians everywhere to engage in what matters most: seeking and finding revival and reformation through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, and proclaiming the nearness of Christ's return.

Almost Home is available at your local Adventist Book Center, online at www.AdventistBookCenter.com, and by calling (800) 765-6955.
