Signs of the Times® Expands Its Reach

Nampa, Idaho (August 28, 2012 — Pacific Press® announced that Signs of the Times® continues to expand its reach into the community with the placement of its latest news box. The Chesterland Seventh-day Adventist Church, in Chesterland, Ohio, placed the 5,000th Signs news box in North America earlier this summer. On May 26, 2012 Elder Tihomir Brechelmacher, Chesterland pastor placed the news box in front of a convenience store in downtown Chesterland, making it the 5,000th one in the country.

David Sturm, coordinator of the Signs news box program based in Nampa, Idaho, has been placing boxes in cities across the country for almost 25 years. He has spoken at more than 1,500 churches and yet his energy and enthusiasm remain contagious. "When God changes your life, you have to tell others," he says. "You want them to experience it too!" Sturm believes one of the best ways to accomplish that is through the Signs news box program.

The program has an annual distribute rate of around 840,000 magazines nationwide. The NPUC distributes approximately 116,500 each year, or almost 10,000 each month.

Signs of the Times® is one of the oldest magazines still in circulation. A monthly, 64-page magazine that contains news, tips and articles on how to live a healthy Christian lifestyle, it emphasizes Christ's second advent and the prophecies and signs that indicate the nearness of this event.

Churches interested in the Signs news box program can contact David Sturm at (208) 850-2387. Individual subscriptions are available through any Adventist Book Center and also online at www.AdventistBookCenter.com.
