New Devotional Takes Readers Through
Eight of E.G. White's Most Significant Books

Nampa, Idaho (August 29, 2007) — Dr. Herbert E. Douglass, author of the best-selling Messenger of the Lord, has published a devotional book, Love Makes a Way, with Pacific Press® that takes readers through eight of Ellen White's most significant books. The devotional uses a daily reading format that summarizes a chapter a day from the five books of the Conflict of the Ages series and Steps to Christ, Thoughts from the Mount of Blessing, and Christ's Object Lessons.

"The daily reading format of Love Makes a Way creates a fast-paced overview of the great controversy theme in the course of a year," says Douglass. Writing Love Makes a Way made a huge impact on Douglass. He says, "For me, the impact of this journey through these eight books has become an encounter with the Divine like none I have experienced before. I could really sense the overarching central theme of the Bible. It was like tracing God's footsteps."

Douglass, who resides in Lincoln Hills, California, has enjoyed a long and distinguished career as a writer, editor, and college president. He has written more than 15 books and is well-known for his definitive work on Ellen G. White's life-Messenger of the Lord. He has also written Dramatic Prophecies of Ellen White, They Were There, and Truth Matters.

Copies of Love Makes a Way can be purchased at any local Adventist Book Center® or by calling (800) 765-6955, as well as online at www.AdventistBookCenter.com.
