Pacific Press® appoints Doug Church
Vice President of Sales and Ministries

Nampa, Idaho (July 21, 2005) - Pacific Press® has announced the appointment of Doug Church, currently the manager for the Carolina Adventist Book Center, as vice president for ministries and sales. Church's appointment comes after Dale Galusha, the current vice president for ministries and sales, accepted the position of president at Pacific Press®.

Church, who will assume his duties the end of August, has spent the past seventeen years in Adventist Book Center management in the Carolina, Minnesota, Southeastern California, and Potomac Conferences. Church says he is excited to join the team at Pacific Press and enthusiastic about the opportunity to serve the Seventh-day Adventist Church in this new capacity. He holds a bachelor's degree in Business Administration from the University of Maryland. Church will be moving to Nampa with his wife, Melody, his son, David, and his daughter, Ashley.

Scott Cady, senior pastor of the Chico Seventh-day Adventist Church for the past ten years, will also be joining the sales and ministries team, as a director. He has pastored in Northern California since 1983, and is currently in the process of finishing his doctoral degree in preaching. He is married to Michelle and has two daughters: Shandra and Courtney.
